摘要： A photodetector comprises a Schottky barrier detector (22) with profiledsurfaces having a maximum response, which is a function of wavelength and angle ofincidence, and a blazed diffraction grating (20), which is placed opposite the barrierdetector and whose dispersion is chosen such that its first order diffracted light hits thebarrier detector with an angle of incidence (A1, A2) that varies so as to almost completelybalance function maximal response of the barrier detector, thereby producing amaximum response from the sensor barrier over a range of wavelengths. Thephotodetector bandwidth can thereby be regulated.
